A journalist with more than 12 years of experience, Lucy is currently the assistant editor at the Jersey Evening Post. Having spent a number of years as the newspaper’s political correspondent she has developed a passion for reporting on and, where necessary, robustly scrutinising the work of the States Assembly and the Government of Jersey.
A great believer in the importance of open, transparent but above all simple communication between politicians and the government and the public they serve, Lucy constantly strives to find ways to impart information that is in the public interest in engaging but meaningful ways.
Her other areas of special interest include diversity and inclusion, equality, children and young people, organ donation, and infertility and women’s health.
Lucy is also a founding committee member of infertility awareness group Tiny Seeds Jersey and sits on the committees for both the St Ouen’s Youth Club and Women for Politics.
